I believe that there is only one race, the human race, Homo Sapiens. I believe that instead of calling ourselves different races we should refer to ourselves as ethnicities, we have different bloodlines, we are not different races. Calling eachother different races I think just creates more issues. When you think about it we call cats.....cats, because even though they can be different breeds they are all still cats, same with all animals. We should be no different, we are the human race, we have different ethnicities. I also think that there should be no African-American, German-American, French-American or anything of the sort, it creates more division and more issues. If you want to be American then you are American, your ethnicity does not need to be in the title of American, or else there would be no one who was just American. I don't care if you keep your traditions or values, but it does not need to alter your title of American. Too many people want to consider themselves seperate from others, that is what helps to keep some of the bad issues alive today. Ian
I also agree with Ian. like animals there are different kinds of races of humans, but we dont specify them with animals. In the human world we catagorize eachother based on a number of different things. I do think that we should just all be called humans because even though we are all different we all bleed the same blood. I do also think that it causes more issues because it's just another reason to divide us as humans.
